William Spigner, who performs as William S. was born in Riverside, California on August 10, 1978. He grew up in Riverside with music in his blood and moved to Mississippi, the birthplace of blues music when he was 17 to get out from under his parents. He hails from a very musical family as both his parents are singers and that is why music comes to him naturally. His early motivations towards music came from his dad who set up lessons for him to learn piano but he ignored it because he wanted to run the streets.
William S. considers himself to be a natural hustler and has worked in Sales, Retail, Air Force, Construction, Fast-Food, Real Estate and Computer Technology. In addition to the jobs William S. came from dealing drugs for 7 years to feed his family, which turned into an addiction and almost got him put back in jail. Music is the outlet that saved Williams’s life. At the age of 13, William S started his musical career when he was offered a record deal with Empire Entertainment. William got expelled from school and lost the record deal that he inked with Sony/EMI. He got kicked out of the country so his dad took him to Turkey. When he came home he graduated and then went to the military where he bought his first MPC and Keyboard.
Upon returning from the military, William S. joined a group called blacksmith and then moved on to a group called the beat makers. Around this time, Will was also working with another producer named John Ooten who was the cousin of Manager/Hit Producer Kenny Bereal who ran Hitclub Entertainment. After listening to Will’s demo Kenny Bereal signed William S. to his entertainment company.
Riding the waves of success, Williams S’s songs were widely acclaimed and received enthusiastic reviews, topping music charts around the world and earning William’s comparisons to such Hip-hop and R&B greats like Jay Z and Dr. Dre — it was a piece of perfection that was acknowledged as a classic far and wide. William S. is currently working on his more new projects, as well as producing other artists for his new company Soundz Good Music. Look out for new music by William S. Coming Soon!
